Star Treatment: Spectacular Strawberries

Besides being refreshing and nutritious, strawberries now tout skincare benefits for acne-prone teens. Extract from the sweet fruit has proven to reduce pores and minimize excess oil. Strawberries work as a mild exfoliant because they contain alpha hydroxy acid that promotes skin renewal.

      Pevonia has developed a Strawberry HydraBoost facial treatment for preteens and teens. THE PROTOCOL

1) Begin the treatment by covering the client’s eyes with cotton pads moistened with Anti-Stress Eye Lotion. Then massage Spa Teen All Types Cleanser gently into the face, neck and décolleté areas. Remove the cleanser and moisten a pad with SPA Teen All Skin Types Lotion to blot the skin dry.

2) Use a face mask brush to apply the Clear-O-Zym gel mixture to the face and neck, keeping the product away from the eye area.

3) Apply steamer for up to 10 minutes. If the client’s pores are severly clogged, massage the Clear-O-Zym peel into the skin. Then, remove the mixture using pads wet with warm water.

4) Perform extractions.

5) Use Phyto-Gel Cleanser, followed by SPA Teen All Skin Types Lotion to ensure the Clear-O-Zym gel mixture has been completely removed from the client’s skin.

6) Apply high frequency to face and neck; let sit for 3 to 5 minutes.

7) Using a face mask brush, apply SPA Teen Strawberry HydraBoost Teen Mask to the neck and face. Leave on for up to 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

8) Spray skin with SPA Teen All Skin Types Lotion and blot dry. Then apply SPA Teen All Skin types Cream to the neck and face.
